His Words In My Mouth

Last Friday as I was returning to my cube, my co-worker beckoned to me and he started telling me about his struggles. He revealed that he had no guidance in his life. That very moment, I simply shared with him about the Lord as my guide.

As he kept talking I answered his life’s questions. I also touched on the subject of salvation, and he attentively listened. In closing, he told me he would give Christianity much thought. This past Monday he took my church invitation card.

I remember a verse found in Deuteronomy 18:18 (NIV): “…I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.”

I seized the chance to preach to my co-worker, as the Lord has instructed me in my Christian life. I planted a seed in my co-worker’s heart, and I pray that the Lord may make it grow. 1 Corinthians 3:6 (NIV) says, “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow.”
