Furious and resentful.
Where is justice?
I cry.
Let Me avenge,
Says the Lord.
Move on with my life;
Wait for God’s glory to shine.
The wicked will be no more;
Into their own pit they will fall.
Furious and resentful.
Where is justice?
I cry.
Let Me avenge,
Says the Lord.
Move on with my life;
Wait for God’s glory to shine.
The wicked will be no more;
Into their own pit they will fall.
It is tough to see justice overlooked. This poem succinctly reminds me of a word God has called me to pray for others needing justice and to ‘stand on’ always: Psalm 125:3 “The rule of the wicked will NOT remain over the godly.” God does defend His people and in His time He does so swiftly. In between, He seems to teach us to forgive those who trouble us and to learn to pray for them.
Very well said, Susan. Thank you.
A nice comment from Susan. A nice restatement of the psalm.
Thank you.
