For the spring break, my family and I visited the Amish country in Middlebury, Indiana. We had a wonderful time there.
The beautiful nature that surrounded our cabin inspired me to create a romantic scene for one of the novels I have been working on.
One night as I lay on bed, a new story sprang into my mind. I asked God to help me develop the heroine and the hero. Then I let the heroine start the first scene and tell me who she was, what she wanted to achieve in her story, why she wanted it, and what conflicts she would face. I did the same with the hero. Once I have completed a rough synopsis, I will send it to my critique partners to gather their comments.

as I recite my verses for the king;
my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.”
