To Safety

Yesterday, as my son and I were going to a café shop for breakfast, we saw a mother duck leading her baby ducklings to the other side of the road.

Before they reached the middle section from the left, my car had already passed them from the right. Then I peered through the rear mirror on the driver’s side and watched them continue their heart-pounding journey.

At a speed of at least 45 mph, other cars were heading in their direction. As the mother accelerated, her babies followed her very closely. At last, they safely made it to the other side.

I am very happy to have my Lord Jesus Christ as my guide. He always watches me; He always protects me from dangers of temptations and sins; He always leads me to safety.

Isaiah 41:13 (NIV) says it very well, “For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
