In Hong Kong, there is one kind of beverage that we should not miss: Hong Kong style milk tea, which is also known as dai pai dong milk tea. (Dai pai dong was a type of open-air food stall.)
Such a drink looks simple on the outside as it literally means that it is tea with milk. However, the type of tea and the type of milk play the key roles: black tea and evaporated milk. The aroma and the taste just make you want to have it more and more; you will never have enough of it.
One day after we visited the Peak, which I will talk more in another article, we rested at a restaurant, and I ordered a cup of milk tea as I just could not miss it.
Try at least a cup when you visit Hong Kong.
